As much as an orchestra requires a conductor to make great music, meetings require a facilitator to be productive and creative.

If you have ever attended a meeting that was poorly run and you wondered why you were wasting your time, you will appreciate the skill of facilitation. A good facilitator is someone who designs and runs an event (a meeting, a retreat, a strategic or operational planning session) to ensure it meets the objectives of the group.

I am a stickler for details in the planning phase and I skillfully guide a group towards their goals throughout the event. I believe that my counselling and coaching work is an added benefit to my facilitation. I am able to listen to individuals and groups with a caring ear, able to hear their concerns and issues and guide them toward creating their own solutions.

"Ann: You did another superb facilitation job yesterday!  We accomplished a lot, but more importantly you made it a very meaningful exercise.  As someone said, you make it look easy – but obviously it isn't.  You are very skilled and competent at what you do.  Thanks again.  "
